Yesterday was day 8 of the shoe making course I am attending at Jouw Stoute Schoenen in Amsterdam. So only one session to go to finish my shoes. I think my progress yesterday took my to a point that actually makes me believe I can make it.
On day 8 I reinforced the back and the sides of the shoes before I nailed the outside leather to the inner sole. After that again a lot of glue to stick it all together.
To prepare the shoe for the sole I will be walking on, the bottom needs to very smooth. With a sanding machine I made sure this is the case.
Next week I will attach the sole and hope to walk away on my own creations. 🙂
